Right i have all these business ideas in my head, but they always come to nothing because i dont know how to start up. I have an idea about a paint company just now. How do i go about getting this paint made etc?

It's great to hear you are brimming with ideas! As your first question is "how do i get the paint made" it sounds like at this stage you have an idea for a product, but you're yet take any steps towards translating this into a business idea. So I'd suggest you start by doing this.
As a very first step, you could do some research to find out whether there is a market for your product. This means not only finding out whether other people think your product is a good idea, but also whether they would have a genuine use for it and therefore want to buy it.
Also have a good look at competitive products that are available - why is yours different or better? What would make a customer choose and buy your product over a competitor's product?
This will help you start to confirm whether your product is just a good idea, or whether it could also be a good idea for a business.
As a next step, there are lots of useful free resources online to help guide you through the process of getting your business up and running, for example, the "start a business" section of the startups.co.uk website or the "Starting up" section of the businesslink.gov.uk website (sorry I can't paste proper web page links here for you - the rules of this forum mean I'm not permitted to paste any web links in my comments until I've made 15 posts and I've only made a few since I joined a few days ago.)
