Claiming expenses

Hi,

I recently invoiced for some expenses incured between Nov '07 and May '08. My previous employer is refusing to pay it claiming I invoiced too late, having previously told me it would be fine. Are they in the right here? How long do I have to claim my expenses?

Are you an employee? (Why would you invoice your employer unless you mean an expenses claim?)

Yes I am an employee claiming expenses.

There is no statutory time limit that I am aware of. I would think that one reason may be that as it is from so long ago your employer may have difficulty vaildating the claim.

Why are you late in claiming?
