The Americans are so ultra competitive, they just steam role one another at every opportunity

If you have Freeview, then take a look at 'The Rebel Billionaire' with Richard Branson - it's another version of The Apprentice with American contestants (why no Brits?) but based in the UK (although they fly all over the world - Virgin airlines plug!? - Hong Kong, South Africa..). The main difference (apart from Richard Branson being much more likeable than Sugar or Trump) is that the 'contestants' have to do things like wing walking, passing a baton to each other while hanging upside down from the top of a plane and walking from one hot air balloon to another along a plank! 2 of them also had to climb ladders up the side of a hot air ballon and have tea on top with Richard Branson! This week some poor buggers have to go over Victoria Falls in a barrel!

Not sure if all this adrenaline stuff makes them good at business, but it's very entertaining in a 'switch your brain off, junk TV' kind of way! (and the program makers must have some serious insurance or else the participants signed away any right to sue anyone over any injuries or trauma which they may sustain!?)

Apparently the 'prize' is Richard Branson's 'job' which I find a bit hard to believe - more likely a position running one of his companies or a new venture?

It's on ITV2 (on Friday nights 8:30pm odd time, I know) :

You're quite a few months behind us in Canada, unless the Richard Branson show is a 2nd series. I'm sure that show ended about 6 months ago!

When I was in the UK 2 weeks ago, I caught a bit of the Apprentice show and I think you're 2 seasons behind too.

The next Apprentice show will feature Martha Stewart rather than The Donald, which should be...interesting...
