Hi all,
We've just put up a new gallery of our vector artwork. If you're interested, it can be found HERE (http://www.eptv.co.uk/printc.htm)
Many thanks to all those who care to visit.

Hi Des
I think there's some nice work there but in all honesty, it's let-down by the severe jpeg compression caused during saving. I'm sure people wouldn't mind waiting a few seconds more in order to see your work in full clarity!
A second, albeit monior point; I know what vector graphics are as I work in vector all the time. However, as this is primarily a business forum, most users might not know! So, you might like to write a small feature or explanantion of what vectors are?
Good stuff! :)

Hey, thanks for the tip Eagle.
I'll recompress them this morning then go and sharpen my favourite crayons before having a good old scribble.
Many thanks.

Interesting work and quite impressive. An explanation of Vectors would be good.
Mike.

I've jotted a few things down, and have updated the page. I really would appreciate it if you could nip along and read my definitions.
I've tried to be as non-technical as possible, without (hopefully), sounding patronising...
Many thanks to those that do!

I understand what a vector is now and how useful they are :)
So really anyone with a logo etc should have a vector version of the logo if they want to use it in different sizes etc ?

Basically, yeah. Ideally, all logos should be created as vectors, and then converted into a bitmap, if necessary.

Crystal clear thank you very much.
