Hi All,
I am newbie and going to start the E-Business, I need you help to find out which E-Commerce Solution provider I should opt for, considering:-
1. Cost
2. Hassle free
3. Speed and Support Response time.
I have narrowed my selection to two providers:- 1&1 and UK2.net. if any of you can share your experiences with them or have any better and alternative options:-
Thanks,
Mo

Hi there,
I would like to suggest Tiger Commerce (www.tigercommerce.co.uk).
They offer;
Free support
Cost is £17.99 + VAT a month
Their response time is fantastic and you don't have to sit their waiting for a e-mail as they are always there to speak to you over the telephone.
I am a bit biased as I work for G-Forces that own Tiger Commerce but I would strongly recommend rather than just take my word for it try the software for yourself on a 7 day free trial at http://www.tigercommerce.co.uk/ecommerce-free-trial.
As for 1&1 Internet Ltd have a look at this link http://www.tigercommerce.co.uk/case-studies/view/104 and see what someone else found when they used them.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards

Take a look at the info on www.internetretailer.biz (http://www.internetretailer.biz) lots of advice. I use them and they are very helpful. £18.95 a month and free updates. Found them on this board under username 'quickshop'
pm me for a setup discount. Check out my site.

Try Easyspace. I think they have an annual charge rather than monthly.

I would recommend http://www.stored-up.com/. They are fairly new but I know a couple of the guys involved and they are ideal for a newbie. They'll cover everything from the design to the set up of the store and the hosting.

Our system is very easy to use and hosted on solid Rackspace servers. Have a look at the demo and see what you think.

Hi there,
I have just started selling UK based hosting via my IT company (PB-NET LTD) via my website. I have several spare webservers that are not being used and decided to use them for shared hosting (I can also offer dedicated servers at an excellent price).
I offer full support with all aspects of your website and web hosting including technical support with your e-commerce store. I can even get your hosting up and running with an e-commerce store that will be ready for you to start using within a day or two (I don't automate the setup, I manually set everything up so that everything is setup perfectly each time based on your requirements).
If you are interested then send me a PM (I wil send you a PM) and I will send you the link to my website. (I cannot post it here because you need to make more than 15 posts to do this!)
What separates me from the larger companies such as 1&1 is that [1] you get UK based hosting on fast servers which can play an important part in your google ranking, [2] you get support from a small UK IT company who takes care of all their customers personally, unlike a large corporation that has thousands of support requests every day, [3] and unlike the large corporations you are a customer and not a invoice number!!!
Please dont hesitate to contact me if you want help and advise or even if you want to go with someone else for hosting I can check them out for you and make sure you get the hosting required for your ecommerce store.
Kind regards
Paul
