further to the above thread, it was suggested that I get some advice from here bout the best thing to do with regards to my website.

I think I am going to take a step back from the business for a few months while I get myself back on a level footing, and research some of the new ideas that I have been given.

The website has been up for about a year, and we do get a lot of visits, if Sittingbourne / Newington Dog walking is googled we come up pretty high. What would people here suggest I do? Do I take the website down, and all reference to the business on ads removed too, or do I leave it all up so that it is there when I return to it?
The package is a Mr Site, which does run out fairly soon, however I do have the option to renew if I so wish

Thanks

Claire

TBH Claire, I don;t think that it will do any harm by leaving it live. As long as you maintain the site on a regular basis, then it may leave the door open for any other future opportunities.

As an aside, also, by leaving it live you may find that you get a little part time work from it. Having read the other thread, I can appreciate that you're planning to stand back and have a look at other ventures, but would it be possible for Paddypaws to become a secondary opportunity which you could manage part time? Obviously not to the detriment of any new plans though:)

I would like to be able to run any new venture alongside the exisiting services, therefore we offer the full pet care service ( Food/toys/accessories aswell as the walking, day care, cat feeding, etc etc etc)

I was thinking of giving the drop shipping a chance, via the website and ebay, as a tester to see how it would work

In that case leave it live:)

the online shop and the pet care services?

Definately. Your dog walking and grooming has a different set of customers to those buying stuff fvor their pets online.

Hi Claire,

Leave the site live & yes, if you think you're getting good visitors on there you should give e-shop a shot & see if things go well. If you find things working fine for you, you can later think about renewing the entire website professionally from scratch.

Hope this helps. Good Luck.
