Hi,

I have a lloyds tsb personal and business account and internet banking on both. You can logon to the personal account 24/7 but the business internet banking closes each night from midnight to 4 am. The personal and business online services look identical, anyone have any reason why it closes at midnight?

Another issue I have is that with my personal account, when making a bacs payment to a new person, I can instantly setup a new payee. With the business account, it takes two days before the payee appears in the internet banking to even make a payment. You have to go back in two days to actually make a payment.

I phoned up and queried this and was just told, it's because they are differet systems. Anyone else get annoyed at this as it delays payments you send.

i had this the other day - phone up the internet banking support and they will set up the payee instantly ;)

I know what you mean - although my biggest issues is the personal banking never listen to the business team!

and the fact it took me 3 months to get my internet banking logins

I found Lloyds TSB never listened to the very people they were there to do business with.................the customer.

I had a similar experience with Lloyds, so I changed Banks. Did they care? No! Thats one of the reasons they are in the mess they are in. They don't listen. There argument seems to be, we are the Bank, we know what we're doing and you follow our rules. No thought given to what the customer might feel would be a benefit to the customer or, god forbid, even to the Bank.

I have found lloyds listen, it may be a recent thing - but when i had problems a few months ago and had my arm twisted in terms of choices narrowing, they listened and helped me out - they also did the same last month!

They seam to understand we are a new business, and at the moment cashflow is one of our highest priorities

LloydsTSB online banking, well their banking in general is split into two!!

Personal banking is all on the TSB framework. So your internet banking is all upto date and relevant.

Business Banking is all on the Lloyds framework and so at least a day behind, on the internet banking, with forecast balances!!!

I have asked several times, which banana told you not to put all banking facilities on one framework...or when will the banking move across? We don't know, is the answer to both.

then again Lloyds were the only bank to have 7 digit account numbers, while everyone else had 8!! Hence why only 7 on their cheque books...even after all these years they still cannot get their printers to place a '0' in front of there seven digit account numbers!!!

Have to say though, when I can get through to Lloyds at least it is a regional centre/or local branch if big enough...not India.... !!!

Join the FSB and bank with the coop, no bank charges (apart from overdraft and bounced cheques at £9 not £35 like everyone else) they are old and the branches are tierd but it does what it says on the tin!!

And at least they didn't pay three million refurbish their banking hall like Barclays in Colchester only to watch the queues increase!!!

The two days thing is either becasue of the framework or money laundering laws!!!

we've had enough with Lloyds :(
We've been customers for over 4 years and for 4 years we've been told that the internet banking is switching over to a realtime service 'soon'
It's obviously not a priority for them, so I'm going to make the switch to somewhere else with better internet banking, not sure where yet.....

I have my personal banking with lloyds and I was going to have my business bank account with them too, infact, I was going to go and see them today, but I'm not so sure now. If I go with co-op through FSB how do I pay myself my drawings?

(sorry to OP for hijacking)

You might want to read this thread (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=106332) before you commit to using Coop's internet banking.

(I've no axe to grind eitherway)

Gotta respect Lloyds TSB for its Customer Zero Liability Protection. I didn't even know such thing existed for a while. I'm happy with my bank
