Hi everybody,

:D

Just introducing myself, I run an IT rental business in Aberdeen renting out to students, business and the general public.

I am a network engineer with a background in electronics and physics. I also look after and set up internet cafes as well as laptop sales, upgrades and repairs.

I love wheeling and dealing and am only too happy to discuss any money making schemes!

Look forward to hearing from you!

Graham

Thanks for your replies, its always nice to feel welcome.

I hope I will get the opportunity to help other people out. So many people have helped me out in the past, that its only right that I reciprocate!

Thanks again!

Wheeling and Dealing? Do you drive a yellow vehicle? ;)

Welcome Graham. I've stayed in Aberdeen on business a few times and always find the locals very welcoming. Nice to have you here.

hi graham,

i like the sound of what you do and you have got a couple of good bargains.

there is a problem with your site though. i will try and explain it best i can.

your navigation works ok when browsing from your index page but if you try to go from the "shop" folder back to for example your about us page, it will not link back.

the reason is you are trying to link to pages that do not exist.

eg. link says: http://www.rentpcs.co.uk/store/About%20us.html

and it should be http://www.rentpcs.co.uk/About%20us.html

i would also suggest removing the space in the "about us" page eg "aboutus"

like the look and feel of your site though and i will be in touch about some of your offers.

Hi,

Welcome to the forums. Its great that you rent out pcs to students. How do you make sure they pay up? Upfront?

Hello again,

Well thanks for visiting the site, you wouldn't believe how much work I'm still putting into the site, although I know theres a lot more to be done particularly with regards to the links.

With regards to payment I have had problems although I know how to avoid them now in future, I have learnt a lot in the last 10 months and I expect to double my profits this year if I play my cards right.

Most students are trustworthy, however its always best to get money up front. Its better not to hire if you have any doubts.

As for marketing online, I'm all ears, just tell me what your proposal is.

Heres a thought, I certainly wouldn't mind branching the business out as I have been getting calls for rental in other cities. If anyones interested in this, please email me at info@rentpcs.co.uk Bare in mind that the advantages with regards to teaming up with me is that I have made mistakes, lots of them, however I've learnt from them and I can certainly advise the best way to run the business.

Any more questions, just ask!

Graham

Maybe you should think of franchising?
