Hi

I have some great ideas for a clothing line that would supplement and increase my current brand awareness. The idea would also take off in the USA because of the nature of the products I currently deal with.

However I have no idea of how to go about it, or the kind of places to contact.

Any help would be appreciated.

You could contact all the large departmaent stores, primarily in NYC, LA and Miami and get space in their stores. I know many retailers are interested in taking on new products, given their potential to sell. If you're thinking smaller scale, you could just lease a shop in one of these cities and simply sell you clothing.

Thanks for the reply but I was more interested in the manufacturing side and where to get that done.

I already feel that I have a potential market with the wholesalers I currently use.

Its a case of who and where to manufacture?

Cheers

Not sure if this helps but we spent ages trying to find someone to manufacture us some bespoke sportswear. In the end we found a company in Wimbledon called Tempest Sports who are doing a not bad job.

Unfortunately it seems most clothing manufacturing takes place oversease now.

Good luck!
