Hello, I am just after a little bit of help if anybody can offer any, or point me in the right direction.
Below is a little bit of information about our charity event and also a little bit of information about ourselves.
We are currently in our final year studying Sports Management/Development at Northumbria University. We are to host a seven a side tournament on behalf of Team Northumbria on Wednesday the 29th April. As well as the tournament there will be various fundraising activities going on at the same time such as; cross bar challenge, spot prizes, raffles and various football activities. We endeavour to hire out various inflatable football games equipment which will us allow us to generate funds for our charity. (Any help with Inflateable items would be great!!)
We have acquired the use of Team Northumbria’s Coach Lane campus, which consists of a 3rd generation rubber crumb pitch (where the tournament will be held), a Astroturf pitch (where the fundraising activities will take place), parking facilities as well as changing facilities. This facility is in a ideal location for our event as there is a free bus service for Northumbria University students from the city centre campus.
Our chosen charities is Metro Radio's ‘Cash for Kids’ and Northumbria University's Zambia Appeal. In return, Team Northumbria are helping with the funding, promotion, prizes of the event and Metro Radio are also contributing to the promotion, prizes and making a live pa and sound system available. Our event is called ‘summer soccer sevens’ in the view that this event will become a annual key date in the calendar of students in Newcastle. However the name of the trophy/event can be altered if you wish to have your companies name in it.
Due to the already great interest in this event, we are sure it will be a success and a great opportunity for yourselves to promote your product within the student community of Newcastle. We would like to ask if you would want to sponsor our event, in the form of any prizes for some of our fundraising activities. If you would like to discuss this event further or would like more information about the charities we are raising money for, please contact myself.
If your reading this bit, thanks for reading the whole thing, am sure it seemed like it would never end. But we are raising money for two seriously good charities and need any help at all. We have acquired several prizes allready for our fundraisig activities, but have yet to secure the main prize for the winners of the event. Any donations would be greatly apprecated.
Even if you can not donate anything, but have some reccomendations for us then that would be great. As i said earlier we are still students and still learning, so if you have any advice at all for us do not hesitate to get in contact with us.
