It looks like a fun product but I wouldn't let my kids out on a bike when it was dark enough to need the ones for the bike.

I will let the rest of the guys here guess what I'm going to think of those websites and add their own comments.

That's a cool product, its a shame it would be illegal to use something like that on cars because boy races would love that :)

Hello ICOMM

I love the website.

Who designed it? - I might like to look them up.

You'll never find them because sites like that get no search engine ranking at all.

Thanks for the comments so far!

Ellie,
Our website was designed in house, another string to our bow, also a note regarding search engine ranking please visit: www.Google.com and search for FxFlare or let's get a little clever and search for Fx Flare (the space between Fx and Flare will force a wider search of no so relevant pages) And bing!
There we are again! No.1 :)

We've travelled many paths and learnt a heck of a lot along the way..

Ranking number 1 for your company name means very little in terms of how well ranked your site is :)

Is it your product or are you just marketing/selling it?

That's true and for 'fx flares' fxflare.co.uk doesn't appear, and for 'fxflares' these is only one result - and it ain't you.

As for wheel lights - again - not a snifter. But then it's new and perhaps hasn't been ranked yet.

But enough of this webmaster baiting.

The bottom line is that the site is slow to load and doesn't give all the information needed to make the buying decision, indeed you can't buy off the site yet.

Also no one is going to download a special piece of software just to see your product but I could be wrong. Out of interest how many downloads do you get of that each day? It just seems like a barrier to purchase to me.

Hi there. Nice idea, but I agree with some of the comments so far... I couldn't find a way to purchase, yet there seemed to be downloadable software. Does that mean that once I bought one I would then have to re visit the site and download the software to program the thing. Not keen on that idea... too complicated. If the gadget needs software you should provide it on a disk with the package.
Nice idea though. I would certainly be interested in cycling through the high income neighbourhoods advertising my website!

I think your product looks awesome! Too bad I couldn't find any info on prices ect. And in my brief browze I couldn't see exactly how it fixes to the bike and how easy it is to remove it when you lock up your bike.

Can it work when the temperature is below zero? We have 6 months of sub-zero so I'd be curious if this would bugger up the electronics in it or not.

Is your product anything to do with these guys at Holy Spokes? http://www.hokeyspokes.com/

Interesting products - where did they originate - US?

So who is the target market for them? I can see the bicycle product perhaps having wider appeal.

BTW, Welcome......

Best wishes,

Hi, They originate in the UK/US..
Nothing to do with HokeySpokes..

Our technology fixes the imagery in the wheel regarless of ever changing wheel speed, HkySpks do not, so on a hkyspk your text moves around the wheel in either direction depending on your speed which is a bit naf as you can't read the message when parrallel with the rider.

No pricing on the site so as not to cause confliction between distributors with different currencies and shipping overheads etc..

Would definietyly work subzero, but battery life would be affected.
Thanks all..

Hi Andy,

Why?

a message in your bicycle wheels? if so then why not have a message on your backpack or on your pram?

I really dont get it... who are your target consumers and wh would you want a message on your bike?

also, whilst i admire you learning flash so you can produce your websites in house... the standard of your site is poor.

i think that given your design skills are minimal, keep it simple.

good luck
