Look feels a bit cheap and tacky, but people often refer to it as a high traffic site like those above.

I can't believe that it is run by only 25 people and has over 500 sites.
It does tend to be over-run with spam though.

It is ranked higher than Amazon on Alexa in terms of the amount of traffic, crazy.

They are not interested in what people think in terms of looks. It has hit classified ads in the US big style!!
It charges people/comapnies to advertise jobs I think, plus other online advertising.
There are many other better looking classified ad websites...

Craigslist ad for free funeral barter laid to rest
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New York funeral director hoping to barter a free funeral for construction work on his patio was forced to scrap the idea due to the media frenzy that followed.
Peter Dohanich, 51, posted an ad for the exchange on the online classified site Craigslist last week.
Intense media interest in the story prompted his landlord, who rents space to Dohanich, to evict him, he said.
The landlord is also in the funeral business and told Dohanich they were competitors, Dohanich said.
"It's been settled, and I'm looking at a new place," Dohanich said, who declined further comment.
The Daily News identified Dohanich's landlord as James Donofrio, the owner of the Blair-Mazzarella Funeral Home, who could not be reached for comment.

It is huge, nobody cares what it looks like. From small beginings it has been one of the biggest reasons for the downfall in advertising revenues for the pront media...well in the US anyway.
