Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and look forward to being able to pass on some knowledge, experience to other users.

I am Managing Director of 2BD Ltd which is a small business consultancy service specialising in IT, Marketing and Communications. We also provide website design and development, telecom products, website hosting and more...

Take a look at the site at www.2bd.co.uk

I am also a founder member of UKB2B.ORG - The UK Business to Business Network - A community for small business. http://www.ukb2b.org

Although it does have a forum (do not want to take traffic away from this one!!) - you can get other benefits of membership and best of all it is FREE

Anyway, if I can help any business owners / managers with any of my expertise, I will be happy to

Look forward to becoming a valued member of this forum too!!

Welcome to the forum.

So is UKB2B similar to this forum in its aims and objectives?

Enjoy.

So is UKB2B similar to this forum in its aims and objectives?

thanks for the kind greetings and i do hope i can help people along the way,

as for the above quote, i would say some of the concept is the same as this forum, as a way of business people bouncing ideas and gaining advice. beyond that we are aiming to have more offline meet and greet type things.

after spending a great deal of time and money subscribing to professional bodies and attending networking events with the hope of meeting the right people to generate more sales yet coming away out of pocket and frustrated about the potential losses of not working for a day we decided it was time to approach things a little different, hence UKB2B.

For example, i attended a networking event recently that cost £50.00 per head to attend for two hours. I paid for two attendees and ended up sat at a table with a competitor and reps from three banks!!!

I did not need a loan and i already had an account, all i came away with was the after taste of some really crappy veg (chicken was nice though).

Anyway, drifted a bit off topic there. The idea in essence is to avoid these sort of obstacles by bringing the right people together for the right reasons

Hope that explains it a bit.

Welcome along LT - although this is by far the best forum i have come across and contribute to, there is always room for more!

My business really thrives with opportunities to network so I'll be checking it out soon.

Best regards
Rob
