I'm looking for some recommendations for decent newsletter management software, the standard one that comes with X-Cart is a bit crap to say the least. I have used List Messenger in the past, but it's a little to basic.

there are many out there & we use get response which is US based but costs us about £10 a month and has more features than you will ever need

if you are managing large numbers of users its far cheaper and they do help with free dvds etc with ideas to increase sales etc & the email support is great

many of the UK based ones are good but if you build massive numbers or run alot of lists it will become more costly but if its generating sales you dont really mind

I like get response as they offer a free trial to get used to it

hope that helps

Try taking a look at "send studio" I have used it only once (so far) it seems pretty comprehensive software.

Hi Cyclone

My company offer one called Communicate, and it's fairly cost effective - have a look here:

http://www.redstarcreative.co.uk/products/communicate/email-marketing-manchester-oldham.aspx

We've just had a price increase from our supplier, so the pricing (which is based on a yearly account) is fairly inaccurate - but email me if you'd like a cost based on your volume (darren [at] redstarcreative.co.uk).

You can export your email contacts from any other package and track click-throughs from the system, so for what you pay it's a nice little package.

Best regards

Darren
