Hello I'm setting up the full payment system for my website and was wondering what options are best to tick when setting up 3D Secure and also what people think of 3D secure these days

Options

Perform the 3D-Secure Authentication
Allow Non-3D Secure Cards to be Authorised
Allow Cards from Non-3D Secure issuers to be Authorised
Allow 3D-Secure failures to continue for Authorisation
Allow Authorisations when MPI errors occur

We use the 3D secure - it is just that added layer of tus for your customer and re-assurance for you as the merchant.

We do not tick item 4 and 5 - if the 3D fails, then we dont allow authorisation; MPI is a bank code, so if that errors or fails, we don't allow that either - the customer can try again if they are serious.....

Works fine, but if youget too may reported failure notices, speak to support@protx.com a they can offer handy advice as to what works best for your installation.
