Hi

Does anybody know of any company that will either buy or recyle old broadband routers, I have a couple of BT ones and a TalkTalk router that still work.

If can't sell will recycle rather than throw away.
Could it be a business idea !!!!!!!!!!

The ones people tend to be interested in are the linksys WRT54G ones.

Primarily because you can run linux on them (via openwrt) and turn them into devices that rival CISCO gear.

More than just that linksys is supported though:

So, if you have one in that list there maybe a market for it, but most people get given a router when they get their ADSL, so unlikely that lot will want another one.

if you dont manage to sell your old routers and want to recycle them,
take a look a freecycle

On top of what FireFleur said, I know a few people that would be interested in routers that can work as wireless bridges on 802.11g/b with WPA2.
