Has anyone here got any experience of adding other peoples leaflets to your orders?

The way orders from amazon, play etc sometimes have insurance leaflets etc.

Is there much money in it? we send out a high volume of low priced items and would love to add a bit of profit..

What sort of people buy from you please.
It is crucial that you can say who your shoppers are.

The bulk of our sales *probably* come from people aged 15-25 although i have nothing to prove this as our site doesnt collect age information.

We are planning in doing something like this ourselves but for our affiliatation programme; we send out leaflets to them to put up for grabs, and in return they send to us their leaflets which we send with orders to localised customers in their areas.

In our case it's not as much to make money from distribution but to increase our own distributable channels for our own leaflets - we scratch their back if they scratch ours so to speak.

We have a reciprocal arrangement too - we have a customer who send out our leaflets wth his order and us his - no money changes hands, but the exposure to each others client lists is worth more than any monetary arrangement.

its a good idea to cross promote

we do it alot for eco/ethical charity groups & use it to cross link our sites

dont forget to also do it with your email newsletters etc

We added dog biscuits to some of our orders from a fellow UKBF member. There was no profit in it for us but the customers got a little extra and the partner got some good exposure.
