Anyone on FreeIndex, if not sign up now. It's 100% free you can have loads of content, images and be left reviews.

If you do sign up please sign up through the link (I get a month super listing :D)

I'm already a member so can't really help Timmo :). It is VERY good for free and the stats thingy, I like.

Yeah, doesn't cost a penny. No hidden costs or upgarde costs either.

Hi

Thanks for that, we already had a listing but didn't realise we could have a link and put more info up. :)

Many Thanks

I'm on FreeIndex too and find it quite good. I've had one or two leads come through it over the last 3 months I've been listed as well so it's worth ensuring your listing is good quality.

Only thing is I think you need to have a reciprocal link to their site on your webpage, but their link button looks decent enough so it doesn't bother me!

And now that everyone has read this thread there will be a lot more!

This is how spam attacks begin.......

Oooh, I like this idea. A new forum called spam where all the spammers can dump their spam along with the wannabes whose posts consist entirely of 'pm me for details'. The perefect place for the $10 website, logos for 50p and link building for a Euro (carefully selected exchange links with dodgy directories in Asia).

Maybe we could have spammer of the week - with a vote for the biggest muppet.

It is interesting that Timmo contributed on my FreeIndex thread and then, an hour or so, later started this one.

Of course you don't have to sign up through the referrer links, you can sign up by just using http://www.freeindex.co.uk/signup.htm

This means you can sign up for free and you're not helping anyone get super-highlighted listings.

I didn't realise the level of feeling regarding FreeIndex threads (I hadn't seen any before)

I have asked for the original referrer link in my first post of my thread to be removed and for my thread to be locked.

(Just trying to do the decent thing as I don't want to upset UKBF members.)

Ashley, there seems to be a growing number of grumpy bar stewards on this site these days ... I wouldn't worry about them to much. :D

No, I understand their point. I think it was a bit cheeky of Timmo to post something on my thread and then set up one of his own an hour later. So I am offering to do the decent thing. :D (Just a bloody goody two shoes me!)

It's not a FreeIndex thing, it's generally considered bad form to post a referral link about anything. For exactly the reason that has now been highlighted...everyone will start doing it.
It's not as big a deal as it has come across in the posts though...most of them are just tongue in cheek :D

FreeIndex..good site...get listed. :)

James.

If you click on "My UKBF" at the top of every page (the 1st of the menu options) it will show you all the threads you have posted messages in. :p
