Hello,
I am a Chartered Accountant with a limited number of small clients. Currently, I do all their Statutory Accounts work just in Microsoft Word using templates I have developed over a period of time. However, it is becoming a little time consuming to roll these things forward and I'm wondering if there is some good and CHEAP (!) stats software programs out there?
If anybody knows of any good options that are cost effective for a handful of clients please let me know!
Thanks!

Hi Julian
VT is very good.
I would also try PTP - its an excellent package.
The advantage of PTP is that you can buy a licence for smaller client numbers which makes it very cost effective.
PTP is a bit more of a complete package than VT in my opinion, having used both, but both are very good and will save you huge amounts of time compared to MS Word!

Yes - fantastic!
It is a great package, very easy and quick to use in-house and for clients.
I have lots of clients who use the free VT cashbook and have been so pleased I recommended it.
You dont have to learn lots of codes and code numbers and data entry is so quick as it learns the common entries you post. It is also very easy to correct errors when necessary.

It would also be worth your while looking at IRIS software, they also let you licence small numbers of clients (starts at 10) and just add on more licences as you need.

Digita has an Accounts Production application that starts with a low level licence and allows you to build as you go.
Give us a call if you fancy a demo
