I have become a Twitter addict in 3 weeks. Yes think it is good for brand awareness, still testing if if can bring traffic to your site though.
Just love twitscoop. Oh and make sure you download and use tweetdeck!

So you can't choose who follows you then? Can you delete followers?:|

No but it does not really effect you. Your home page is only made up of Tweets by the people you are following. Go and get stuck in...:)

Thanks! Is there any way to target people in the same industry as you - or is it just a hit-and-miss keyword search in the usernanme field?

I've been using it for a few weeks now.
To be honest I wasn't very impressed to start with - too many people telling me they were having a cup of coffee, etc.
I started to get the hang of it after a while and then blogged about its benefit here:
Twitter for Business (http://www.kksmarts.com/blog/twitter-for-business/)
Since then I've continued and it does have value.
One piece of advice is get yourself something to manage your tweets with. The web interface doesn't help when you get into high volume of followers.
I use TweetDeck at the moment - quite a useful tool.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
Mike

You'll find a load of other UKBFers on Twitter here (http://search.twitter.com/search?q=UKBF). Make a post on Twitter containing #UKBF and you'll be listed there too.

Yeah - loads of Twitter threads in the last 6 weeks. I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so (http://blog.kashflow.com/2009/01/19/tweet-tweet/).
