Hi Eagle.

Yes I do check my posts very thoroughly. Now you've mentioned it though I'm bound to make a mistake or two and end up with very red cheeks
It has happened in the past when I'm being careless.

Hi John,

Welcome to the forums! Businesses getting websites checked is a good idea. I have been on the good old bbc website a couple of times and noticed errors!

Good luck

It's really amazing how many mistakes creep into websites. We've proofread/rewritten some horrendous ones, for companies who really should know better. I think the problem is that when you write something yourself, it becomes really difficult to see the mistakes in it! You just see what you think is there...

Hi all,
Amber is spot on with her comments. Too often a website is judged strictly on its appearance with little thought given to the text. However, I know nothing about building brilliant websites, so each to his own and good luck to all, because without errors in text I'd be out of work!

PS. Jose, Andy, Whistle Ink and Odeniyi, thank you for the welcome.

Warm regards. :D
