Hi
Just setting up my first website which will be the start of my new business. I am trying to find animation,gifs,jpegs,backgrounds and all the other bits and bobs. Can any of you old hands at this game recommend to me some site's that will allow me to download all the goodies? I hope to have the site up soon and will come back and find out what you think.

Hi,

I have a few templates - they are not too bad for a start - but depending on your business it's usually best to move onto a custom site as quickly as you can.

If you'd like to let me know what sort of business you're starting and I'll see what templates may be suitable (either post here or PM me)

There are also some good royalty free photo and graphics sites like www.sxc.hu

A search on Google will help but make sure you're not using copywritten material!

Go easy on the animated gifs, it's a sure fire method of spotting an amateur website :)

There millions of free web graphics out there in the ether.

Just type Free web graphics in to Google and take your pick!

As mentioned above, stay away from animated gifs. they really are amatuerish.
