Real World Hypnotherapy

During this economic downturn, charities that rely on donations have been hit extremely hard. Some charities are reporting up to 70% of donations have ceased over the last few months and many are on the brink of collapse.
Recently I went through my accounts and found that the majority of my new clients come to me via referral. At present I do not have a structured referral plan, a fellow hypnotherapist based in London told me that he has a great system that I am keen to implement.
Since a referral does not cost me anything in the way of advertising, I am willing to make a £10 donation to charity.
Here is the plan;
1. I send my current clients 10 of my business cards
2. They hand them out to friends, family and colleagues who you think may need my services
3. The person they gave a card to contacts me for a free no obligation phone consultation.
4. If they decide to become a client I make a £10 donation to a charity of your choice in their name
At the end of each calendar month I contact my clients and inform them of the amount of money I am donating and find out the charity you wish it to go to.
This is a great system where everyone benefits. Charities will benefit by receiving funds that they would ordinarily have not have got. My client’s friends and colleagues will benefit by receiving top quality hypnotherapy. My clients benefit by knowing they are donating money to charity without having to spend a penny and I will benefit by having new clients referred to me.
Just think how you can implement this in your own business. It really is simple to do and very effective! You can also get local PR out of it. I have chosen to let the client choose the charity, you can set it up so it is one particular charity. A local charity would be ideal for this system and would get the local press on your side.
If you are based in Manchester and want some of my business cards, please email me at matt at realworldhypnotherapy dot com with your full name and address.
The great thing is that the people handing out your business cards don’t even have to be past clients. I intend to give business cards to local hairdressers and other businesses.
