Is Fairtrade & Green good items to sell or just good marketing by manufacturers

Wonder if any retailers as opposed to wholesellers and manufacturers find the Fairtrade brands and Green / organic brands are really good sellers or just a small sale now and again

Great marketing campain's going on and loads of hype, just trying to get a honest feel for the actual results
