I am looking for video conferencing software (preferably free). This is for personal use, not business, so it does not need to be heavy duty. I need it so I can keep in touch with family who are overseas.

I'm not sure how I go about doing this. Can anyone make any recommendations?

Regards,
Simon

I think there was a piece of software I saw a while back called NetMeeting by Microsoft, That's free.

It may not sound very professional either but MSN messenger will do that for you if you want

Yup, Netmeeting should do the job. Built into Windows these days. Useful to share documents as well. I think latest versions of AIM as well as MSN also support compliant video devices (even the < £30 devices).
