Hi

we are looking to find out when bankrupt stock is auctioned in in Scotland i.e Edinburgh/ Glasgow.

We new of a company who went uder a few months ago and all the pc's servers, desks etc were sold in auction for a fraction of what they were worth. The problem is we dont know where these auctions are and who runs them.

Can anyone help?

I would try some local websites, they often hear things as they know so many people. Thats the only thing i can think of :D

Have you tried calling around the auction houses? They should have the contacts to tell you what is going on.

The other options are the accountants - they are the ones that decide if a companies assets should be sold off and how.

If they want buyers to turn up they must be advertising somewhere - why not ask your own accountant where he would place a notice to sell off your own assets should the worst happen? :-)

Although I am not sure I want my accountant thinking along those lines personally ;-)
